Six games you can actually play one-handed

Not every game needs two thumbs and your full attention. Some of the best mobile experiences are the ones you can run with a single hand while holding onto a rail. I've been collecting these for months.

The rule I use is simple. If I can play it comfortably while standing on a moving bus with a bag over one shoulder, it makes the list. That cuts out most racing and action games immediately and leaves room for clever casual and puzzle titles.

Tap-only controls are the gold standard here. Swipes can work too, as long as they're generous and forgiving. Anything that needs precise dragging across the whole screen is out, because your thumb simply can't reach.

My current rotation leans on quick mini-game collections and short puzzle rounds. They respect that I might get interrupted at any second, which is the whole point of playing on the move.
